1. Who we are

2. What data we process

• Data from the appointment form: name and surname, telephone number, e-mail address, the options selected (field, urgency, format, date and time) and, if you choose to complete it, a brief description of your situation.
• Data from the message form: name and surname, telephone number, e-mail address, the subject and the content of the message.
• Data provided directly, when you contact us by telephone or by e-mail.
• Minimal technical data, recorded automatically by the hosting server in its access logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited), for security and proper operation.

Please do not send sensitive data or documents through the forms; these are discussed during the consultation.

3. For what purposes and on what grounds

• Booking and confirming the consultation, and replying to your message — steps taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract [art. 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679] and the consent given by ticking the agreement box [art. 6(1)(a)].
• Operation and security of the website — our legitimate interest in keeping the service available and protected [art. 6(1)(f)].
• Compliance with legal obligations applicable to the practice of the legal profession [art. 6(1)(c)].

4. Confidentiality and professional secrecy

The information you send us with a view to a consultation is treated as confidential, in accordance with the rules of the legal profession — Law no. 51/1995, the Statute of the legal profession and the Code of Ethics of the Romanian lawyer. The duty of professional secrecy is distinct from — and stricter than — general data protection obligations.

5. To whom we may disclose data

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing. It may be accessed, strictly to the extent necessary, by our technical providers (web hosting, e-mail services), who act under confidentiality obligations, and by public authorities, solely where the law requires it.

6. How long we keep data

Data sent through the forms is kept for as long as is necessary for the appointment, the correspondence and the record of requests. Where a request is followed by a legal assistance agreement, the data is kept in accordance with the record-keeping and archiving obligations applicable to the profession.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access to your data, and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.
