Advice and drafting
Legal opinions, drafting and negotiating contracts, strategy — before the dispute reaches the courts.
Gidro & Gidro is a law firm in Cluj-Napoca. We advise and represent companies and individuals in civil and commercial law, disputes between professionals, tax litigation, urban planning, civil and industrial construction, criminal law and family law. We accompany every matter along its whole course — from the first discussion through to the moment a transaction is completed or the judgment obtained is enforced.
Drafting and reviewing contracts between professionals and their clauses, disputes with contractual partners and between shareholders, corporate and association law, challenges to tax assessments, public procurement, urban planning and building permits, mergers and demergers.

“Truth conquers all things.” Not a slogan, but the criterion by which we select cases and the way we present them to you.
Not knowing the procedure often worries people more than the problem itself. Here is what follows after the first contact.
You describe your situation. We listen and ask the questions needed to establish the facts.
We examine the contracts, decisions, official records and correspondence. Any serious strategy starts from the documents.
We set out what can be done, what cannot, and where the weak points of the case lie. Prospects and risks are discussed in concrete terms.
We agree together on the course to follow and record it in the legal assistance agreement.
We represent you until the procedure is concluded and, where necessary, through to enforcement of the judgment.
Two partners and three associates. Your case is discussed directly with the lawyer who takes it on.
Every work can be consulted in the publication in which it appeared.
More than forty studies, articles and case notes in the specialist legal journals — Dreptul, Revista Română de Drept Privat, Revista Română de Dreptul Afacerilor — for the most part on the general law of obligations and on contractual relationships. Both partners teach at the National Institute for the Training of Lawyers — Cluj Territorial Centre.
Analyses written by the firm’s lawyers, starting from situations encountered frequently in day-to-day work and explained in accessible language.

What can be done when an authority stays silent or refuses without reason — deadlines, the preliminary procedure, and what can be claimed in court.
